Week #3

 

Ingredient #3: Self-Awareness and Self-Care: you first, or how to stop stopping yourself

 

Homework:

 

1. Practice defining your Triggers and using the Three-Step Process with yourself, and also with your partner. (on-goingly, this week)

You'll want to come up with a great statement or question you can use with yourself for Step 3 of the Three Step Process, as well as a great statement or question your partner can use with you as Step 3 of the Three Step Process. Try them out this week!

2. Do the Needs Pyramid, writing exercise, for getting a healthy relationship with your needs, so you can be at your best, more of the time! (15-20 minutes)

BONUS #1: Do the Organizing Principle writing exercise. (15-20 minutes). This will clarify your Blessing, your joy, your purpose – not necessarily to influence what you do for work, but if you have your Organizing Principle in your life, you will be more satisfied, connected and fulfilled.

BONUS #2: Collecting Your Value. (15-20 minutes). You'll be collect from the people in your world what makes you so special!

Week #4
Ingredient #4: Communication Made Easy … really!

 

Homework:

Deepen your understanding of and practice using your Love Dialects.

  1. Make a list of 3-5 things that is your partner already doing really well. (5-10 minutes)
  2. Do the Love Dialects Evaluation exercise with your partner. If you did it for them when you did it for yourself, compare notes and see where you were on or off. (10-20 minutes)
  3. Revisit the exercise for the ways you both EXPRESS love, care and affection. (10-20 minutes)
  4. Make a list of 3-5 areas you are experiencing less love than you’d like. What are three things you can ask for? The clearer the better! (5-10 minutes)
  5. Put these in your daily and weekly schedules. (5-10 minutes)

Practice the What You Heard exercise, at least once. (10-20 minutes)

1) Revisit and continue to work on your Erotic Blueprint. As a bonus, share with your partner and begin to discuss how you can incorporate both of your Erotic Blueprints into your sexual and sensual lives. (about 20-30 mins)

2) "Unpack" an important theme, separately and then with your partner. (about 20-30 minutes)

3) Use the Radically Honest Conversation, as needed, for anything, but possibly for the above two exercises.

1) Complete your Final Experience Report and email it to me by Tuesday, November 24th, end of day (liyana (at) redefiningmonogamy (dot) com). Thank you!

2) Look over and add to Part 1 of your Relationship Vessel exercies. Go on to Part 2 and share with your partner, if applicable.

3) Look over the Community Creation exercise. Make note of that one thing you'll be adding in and/or letting go of, and by when! Bring it in to conversation with your partner, in how you are Creating Community for your partnership.
